There is a verse in the Bible that reads, “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, so he may run that reads it” (Habakuk 2:2). How true this has been for me! I love creating and using vision boards as a way to provide me inspiration on those days where I feel BLAH or stuck! It helps having a visual reminder as to why I need to continue to run on and stay on course. Check out a vision board that I completed and how it all manifested by clicking here.
Because I have experienced the effectiveness of using vision boards, I often task my clients – both my coaching and counseling clients – to make a board as it helps to stay reminded of the end goal, particularly when they are in need of a recharge.
With the advancement in technology, you can make an electronic vision board which is awesome because your board is now portable! Pintrest and Glogster are two popular ones. Another alternative is to make a Vision Book using a small notebook instead of poster board if you choose to make one the old fashion way, but still want it portable and/or private.
So now that you have:
- Recharged and ready to take 2013 head on
- Set your intentions (Click here learn more about intentions)…..
Are you ready to visualize your goals so that when you see them you are motivated to RUN ON?
